Lexicomp is a collection of clinical drug information resources and decision support tools. The computer interface is called Lexicomp Online. You will find the link for it under the Pharmacy heading on the Library's home page.

When using Lexicomp, you can browse by category or access an individual module from the blue tool bar across the top. You can narrow your results by using the filter drop-down menu to specific databases. Some of the databases include, AHFS (adult and pediatric), Martindale (international drugs) and natural products.

Searching the modules (support tools) enables you to locate information on a wide range of topics including interactions, dosing, IV compatibility, patient education and toxicology.

The side bar on the right provides quick links to videos, a quick reference guide and product updates.

Lexicomp also provides remote access. The mobile app is available for either Apple or Android platforms. Just click on the Mobile App Access button and follow the instructions.

Comments or questions? Contact the Library, 248-471-8434. Hours: Mon-Fri, 9a-4p.
